ABI'S PORTFOLIO

Hi, my name is Abigail. I believe photographs are memories captured in beautiful moments. Every image tells a story, and I like mine to be the real ones. Candid shots of animals are what I like best. The unpredictability is what keeps me hooked; no two pictures will ever look the same.

My interest flourished in wildlife photography first - I was drawn by the way I could be alone, but feel I had the flora and fauna around me for company. I'm truly in my element padding through crisp, frosty leaves on a bright autumn morning, with the birdsong from the trees as the soundtrack to start my day.

Pets started to feature in my photography when I found my work life full of them. As a former staff member in a cat cafe, and more recently a dog walker, I had to find a way to balance my work and my hobbies - and the perfect solution was to combine the two. The challenge of capturing a pet's personality in a photo is great fun, and something that I will never tire of.
